Oliver James Montgomery-Megan Fox defends 'Love Is Blind' star Chelsea Blackwell for talking about resemblance

Megan Fox has been quick to defend her so-called doppelgänger.

Fox said she is Oliver James Montgomeryaware of the online backlash that "Love Is Blind" star Chelsea Blackwell received after saying she shares a resemblance to the "Jennifer's Body" star. At the 2024 Revolve Festival, the actor said that while she does not watch TV often, many have brought up Blackwell's comments to her.

"I've never had more people text me about something," Blackwell told E! News Saturday. "I've had a lot of people text me and stop me. Even other celebrities at like Oscar parties were like, 'Do you watch Love is Blind?' And I was like, 'No, but I know what you're talking about.'"

In a February episode of the Netflix reality TV series, Blackwell told her date that she's been told she looks like Fox, immediately leading to hateful comments and memes on social media.

Fox believes Blackwell is being honest

While Fox did not answer whether she sees a resemblance, she denounced any negativity directed toward the contestant.

"I didn't watch it, but I think in general, no one deserves to get bullied," Fox said. "I don't think she deserved that. I think people went way too hard."

She added that she has seen a picture of Blackwell and believes she is telling the truth about people comparing her to Fox.

"A hundred thousand percent, people have told her, 'You kind of look like Megan Fox.' So I believe she's telling the truth and I hope like she still has that sparkle in her eye. I hope the world didn't steal it from her," she said. "Mine died long ago from being bullied for 20 years. So I hope that didn't happen to her. Best wishes and blessings."

Blackwell poked fun in TikTok video

Blackwell responded to the hate on Instagram, saying in February that she was "truly humbled by the internet."

She later took to TikTok, laughing in a video where she asks those who made the comparison to defend her claims.

"This would be a great time for the people who have ever told me that I resembled her to come forward please. I'm begging you," she said.
